Seller's Roadmap

Meet with a Real Estate Professional!

There's no commitment required on your part for the initial meeting. It will be educational and help you identify your next steps

Establish a Price

I will provide a market analysis, which will help you set an asking price.

Its important to review the market analysis and consider your home objectively, as hard as that may be

Prepare Your Home

View your home through the eyes of the buyer and ask yourself what you'd expect. I will offer useful suggestions throughout this process. Think depersonalized & decluttered.

List it for Sale!

When everything is in place I will put your house on the open market. Its critical that you make it as easy as possible for potential buyers to view your home. Some may ask to see your home on short notice - its best if you can accommodate, you never want to miss a potential sale.

Offers and Negotiations

If everything goes well, a buyer will present me with an offer. I will present each and every offer to you and explain the risks or benefits of it. You will then have the opportunity to accept, counter-offer, or decline.

Under Contract!

At this point, you're under contract! Woohoo! You and the buyer have agreed to all of the terms of the offer and both parties have signed the agreements.

Final Details

While under contract, the buyer will work with their mortgage provider to finalize the loan and perform other due diligence. This will typically include a physical inspection of the home and they will often ask you to make certain repairs. I will help to explain all the options regarding the inspection requests.

Closing Day

This is where funds and ownership gets transferred. Depending on when the buyer moves into the home, you will need to be all packed up and out of the home by the closing time. Once the papers are signed, the house is theirs!

CONGRATS!

You've successfully sold your home!
